Product Description
Poly (m-phenyl-m-phenylenediamine) fiber; Aramid 1313; polyisophthaloyl metaphenylene diamine fibre; Fanglun 1313; Nomex
Application: A kind of polyamide fiber. It is mainly used for preventing atomic radiation and high-altitude high-speed flight materials. Can also be used for special requirements of tire window line. It is mainly used for making radiation-proof clothing, aerospace clothing, and also for making high-temperature resistant clothing, honeycomb parts, high-temperature wire tubes, aircraft fuel tanks, firewalls, reverse osmosis membranes or hollow fibers.
Note: Breaking strength 0.4 ~ 0.53 n/t, elongation 30 ~ 50%, moisture regain 6.5%. Resistant to acid, alkali, mildew and aging. Its friction, corrosion resistance is the best, strength and elasticity. The disadvantage is poor light resistance.
This is a soft white, thin, fluffy, glossy fiber, the appearance and ordinary chemical fiber is no difference, but the combination of all in one, with extraordinary special functions.
First, durable thermal stability
The most prominent feature of arnylon 1313 is that it has good high temperature resistance, can be used for a long time at 220 ° C without aging, its electrical and mechanical properties can be maintained for 10 years, and its dimensional stability is excellent, the thermal shrinkage rate of about 250 ° C is only 1%, and it will not shrink, embrittle, soften or melt when exposed to 300 ° C for a short time. Decomposition begins at a temperature of more than 370 ° C, and carbonization begins at about 400 ° C – such high thermal stability is unique in organic resistant fibers.
Second, impressive flame retardant
The percentage of the oxygen volume required for the material to burn in the air is called the limiting oxygen index, and the greater the limiting oxygen index, the better its flame retardant performance. Usually, the oxygen content in the air is 21%, and the limiting oxygen index of aramid 1313 is greater than 28%, which is a non-flammable fiber, so it will not burn in the air, nor support combustion, and has self-extinguishing. This inherent property derived from its own molecular structure makes aramid 1313 permanently flame retardant, so it has the reputation of “fireproof fiber”.
Three, excellent electrical insulation
The dielectric constant of aramid 1313 is very low, and the inherent dielectric strength makes it maintain excellent electrical insulation under high, low and high humidity conditions, and the breakdown voltage of insulating paper prepared with it can reach 100,000 volts /mm2, which is recognized as the best insulating material in the world.
4. Excellent chemical stability
The chemical structure of aramid 1313 is extremely stable, and it can resist the corrosion of most high concentration inorganic acids and other chemicals, hydrolysis resistance and steam corrosion.
5. Excellent mechanical properties
Arylon 1313 is a flexible polymer material, low stiffness and high elongation characteristics make it have the same spinnability as ordinary fibers, can be processed into a variety of fabrics or non-woven fabrics by conventional spinning machines, and wear resistance and tear resistance, the application range is very wide.
Six, super radiation resistance
Aramid 1313 has excellent resistance to α, β, χ-ray and ultraviolet radiation. With 50Kv χ-ray radiation for 100 hours, its fiber strength still maintains 73% of the original, and at this time the polyester has long been turned into powder.
The unique and stable chemical structure gives aramid 1313 many excellent properties, through the comprehensive utilization of these characteristics, a series of new products are constantly developed, in the field of safety protection, high filtration, electrical insulation, structural materials and other applications more and more widely, the popularity is getting higher and higher, has become an indispensable important basic material in many fields such as military, industry, science and technology.
